~ Maternity Preparation Guide ~

Must Haves/Must Bring
  • Please bring at least 1 matching Bra and knickers set

  • Strapless Bra (white or beige if possible)

  • White, Beige and Black Undies

  • A Black and White Bra if Possible (make sure they are not maternity bras as they do not look nice in photos)

  • 1-2 Nice fitted dresses (optional) to show off your belly. Please do not bring loose fitted dresses as they do not photograph well and tend to be a little unflattering

For Her

Please ensure that you bring the above items for your Maternity Session. I do also have a variety of maternity dresses available for you to use so dont worry if you havent much to bring along clothes wise. These Maternity dresses are made especially for photography sessions and will look great in your photos.

Fitted and cropped tops are great for showing off your belly also. As well as off the shoulder tops look gorgeous too.

For Him

If Possible try to coordinate with each other for the session.  Jeans, trousers and soft fabrics look good for your partner.  Pants and nice plain shirts can look fantastic. If possible be sure to bring plain T-shirts in a solid colour such as grey, black or white and again please avoid any logos

What to Wear - Siblings

For the Boys - Usually suggest Jeans or Jean Shorts and a plain top or shirt (without patterns or logos)

For the Girls - A nice pretty dress

No need for shoes for studio shots as they will be barefoot.

Make sure their eyes, nose, finger and toenails are clean and groomed. No nail polish unless freshly done.

Hair & Make Up

Make -up should be applied as classic and clean. However your foundation needs to be applied quite thick as this photographs well and helps me to smooth out your skin later in Photoshop.  Please make sure your finger and toenails are groomed. Please apply Lotion and lip balm as this will help with close-ups.

Hair , I usually suggest to be down and not up. Try to either straighten or curl depending on your style.

Leave the rest to me!

Thanks xxx
